Anna University has officially started the registration process for the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) and Common Engineering Entrance Test and Admissions (CEETA PG) 2025 today, January 24, 2025. Aspirants seeking admission to MBA or MCA programs for the 2025-2026 academic session can now apply. The opportunities extend to University Departments, Constituent Colleges under Anna University, Annamalai University, Government and Government-Aided Institutions, as well as Self-Financing Colleges in Tamil Nadu, including standalone institutions in engineering and arts and science streams.
The examination, conducted by Anna University, Chennai, on behalf of the Tamil Nadu Government, is set for March 22, 2025. The MCA exam will take place from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon, while the MBA exam is scheduled for 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM. Candidates can submit their applications until February 21, 2025. The CEETA PG exam is scheduled for March 23, 2025, and will take place in a single session, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

  • Create an account: Click on the “New Registration” link to create an account. You will be prompted to provide basic details such as your name, email address, and mobile number. Make sure to use valid information, as this will be required for future communication.
  • Login to your account: After successfully registering, log in using the credentials created during the registration process.
  • Fill in the application form: Provide the necessary academic and personal details, including your educational qualifications, category, and the programs (MBA or MCA) you are applying for.
  • Upload documents: Upload the required documents such as your recent photograph, signature, and category certificate (if applicable). Ensure that the documents meet the specified size and format requirements.
  • Select exam center: Choose your preferred exam center from the list of available centres.
  • Pay the application fee: Proceed to pay the application fee online using a debit/credit card, net banking, or other available payment methods. The general fee is Rs 1,000, while candidates from SC, SCA, and ST categories are required to pay Rs 500.
  • Review and submit: Carefully review all the information provided in the application form. Once verified, submit the form.

TANCET 2025 Application Fee

Candidates applying for the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) 2025 will need to pay an application fee of Rs 1,000 to complete their registration. However, applicants belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Caste Arunthathiyar (SCA), or Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories from Tamil Nadu will be eligible to fill out the application form by paying a reduced fee of Rs 500.
