Bollywood stars often make many unheard revelations related to their lives on chat shows which surprise people. 90s superstar Aamir Khan, who made his Bollywood debut with the film ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak’ in 1988, said that he was quite insecure in his initial days in the film industry. While talking to Nana Patekar, the actor mentioned that he was afraid that the audience might not accept him because of his height.
Aamir Khan, while talking to Nana Patekar for Zee Music Company’s YouTube channel, says, ‘I was insecure in the beginning. I felt that the audience would not accept me because of my height. This was my fear, but later I realized that all these things made no sense. At that time, a kind of insecurity would come to mind.
Aamir’s spilled pain
Nana Patekar encouraged Bollywood’s Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan. He said, ‘Look at my face, I can still work in films for 50 more years with this face’. Aamir further says that while working, he understood what things are more important in his career. One thing that is most important in this industry is what kind of work you do and how much the audience likes your work. All other things are useless.
Had expressed fear 12 years ago
Even during the promotion of his film ‘Talaash’ in 2012, Aamir Khan had said that he was very insecure about his height. He was afraid that people would call him ‘Tingu’. In this interview, Aamir had said, ‘There was a fear in my mind. I was afraid that people would call me a big tingu. This was my fear but people liked it.
