Kolkata: The post-mortem of the woman, Wanted Sardarwhose body was found with her throat slit in a rented house in Diamond Park near Joka revealed a deep wound on the back of her head.
Police are looking for the man who had moved in with the woman on Jan 17. While she had introduced the man as her husband, Kartik, to the landlord, police are now not so sure after the woman’s mother claimed that her daughter and son- The in-laws had separated around eight months ago. This led police to consider the possibility of the man being someone other than her husband.
But police said they were certain someone known to Chhaya had murdered her. tnn
