Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge: South Korean company Samsung launched the Galaxy S25 series last night. Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus and Galaxy S25 Ultra phones were launched in this series. During the launch event, the company had shown a glimpse of another phone, which is being much awaited. This is going to be the thinnest phone of the company so far. It has been named Galaxy S25 Edge. It was expected to be launched along with the Galaxy S25 series, but now customers will have to wait a while for it.
Glimpse seen at the event
Samsung has given some hints related to its design by showing its glimpse at the event. It looked quite thin in the visuals and its design language is also similar to the Galaxy S25 devices. Two cameras can be provided in its rear. The company has not given any other information related to it, but there are speculations that it can be launched in the second or third quarter of the year.
This could be the dimension
According to the information revealed so far, the thickness of this phone is going to be 6.4mm without the camera module, which can increase to 8.3mm with the camera bump. At present, the thickness of almost all the phones present in the market is 8-10mm without camera module. The dimensions of the Galaxy S25 Edge are expected to be 159 x 76 x 6.4mm, which is smaller than the dimensions of 162.8 x 77.6 x 8.2mm of the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
There will be no compromise on performance
Despite the Galaxy S25 Edge being thin, the company is in no mood to compromise on performance. According to leaks, it will be equipped with a 6.7-inch flat display with ultra-thin bezels, Qualcomm’s powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, 200MP main camera and 50MP telephoto lens and 12GB RAM.
