Sandhya theater stampede case, Allu Arjun appears in court virtually, interim bail intact

New Delhi. Actor Allu Arjun appeared virtually in Nampally court on Friday in the Sandhya theater stampede case. His interim bail will remain intact. Meanwhile, the hearing on remand will now be held on January 10.

During Allu Arjun’s appearance in the court on December 27 regarding this case, Pushpa actor was connected through video conferencing. Allu Arjun, named as accused number 11 in the case, filed a petition in the court for regular bail. On which hearing can be held on December 30. Keeping security in mind, Allu Arjun had to be presented in court in virtual mode. Allu Arjun was arrested by the police on 13 December.

Allu Arjun did not get relief
Allu Arjun was arrested on December 13 in a case registered in connection with the stampede that took place during the premiere show of ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ at Sandhya Theater on December 4, in which a woman was killed. Since then, the actor has been continuously in the headlines not only for his film but also for this matter. Till now Allu Arjun has not got relief from this case.

Considering the situation, presented through video conferencing
Nampally Court had sent the actor to judicial custody for 14 days. His lawyers approached the High Court, which granted him interim bail the same day. The High Court had asked him to go to the trial court for regular bail. The actor, named accused number 11 in the case, was released from Chanchalguda jail the next day. The actor’s 14-day judicial custody period ended on December 27. Allu Arjun’s lawyers had sought permission from the court for his virtual appearance and told the court that his personal presence could lead to a chaotic situation in the court premises.

Let us tell you that the actor’s lawyers Niranjan Reddy and Ashok Reddy had filed a regular bail petition. Police had interrogated Allu Arjun on 24 December. He was interrogated for more than three hours at Chikkadpally police station on the basis of a 10-minute video prepared by the police after collecting CCTV footage of the incident. On December 21, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy in the Assembly accused Allu Arjun of visiting the theater without police permission and conducting a ‘road show’ before entering the theater and also while exiting the theater after the stampede. Was severely criticized.

It is noteworthy that shortly after the criticism by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Allu Arjun, while addressing a press conference, had termed the allegations as false. He also said that he is being wrongly accused, due to which he is hurt.
