UK issued advisory regarding Bangladesh said not safe for foreigners terrorist attack

Britain on Bangladesh: After the situation in Bangladesh is worsening day by day, the Government of Britain (UK) has issued a new travel advisory regarding Bangladesh. In the advisory issued by the UK government regarding Bangladesh, it has been clearly stated that the risk of terrorist attacks there may increase. In this advisory, it has been said to specifically target those places where foreign tourists, religious places and political rallies are organized.

Immediately, the UK Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) wrote in its advisory update regarding Bangladesh that there is a possibility of a terrorist attack in Bangladesh. These attacks can target crowded places, religious places and political meetings. In particular, those people can be targeted whose lifestyle or ideology some fundamentalists consider against Islam.

These people are targeted

FCDO has advised only essential travel, especially in areas like Chittagong. This area is already considered disturbed and insurgent activities and terrorist incidents have been recorded here several times. There are daily reports of attacks on minority religious communities and security forces in Bangladesh. In the last few years, ID i.e. Improvised Explosive Device has been used in big cities. Security forces and police often become targets of these people. Bangladeshi administration is active to stop such attacks, but the threat still remains.

Stop visiting these places

It is clearly stated in the advisory of FCDO to avoid crowded areas, religious places and political rallies. Be cautious around police and security personnel. Maintain distance from any large gathering or demonstration, follow the advice of the local administration. Although Bangladesh is a beautiful country, traveling there can be risky under the current circumstances. Terrorism has a negative impact on the security and economic condition of any country.

Do not go to Bangladesh without reading advisory

Despite these threats, the administration in Bangladesh is continuously trying to stop planned attacks. However, it is the responsibility of every citizen and traveler to remain vigilant. If anyone is planning to travel to Bangladesh, then definitely get information about the local conditions before travelling. Always have emergency numbers and a means of contacting local administration. Travel with minimum luggage and avoid crowding. Well, taking the terrorist threat lightly can be dangerous.
