It was Raj Kapoor who changed her name and gave her the screen name Nimmi. Nimmi was often scared on the set. Actress ruined her career for marriage
Nimmi made her mark in the 50s. But within no time he had established his presence in the industry. But he had rejected many big films for marriage. In her career, Nimmi had rejected films like Sadhna, Woh Kaun Thi only because she was thinking about marriage. Later, actresses like Vyjayanthimala and Sadhna got recognition from these films.
